Amanda Wallace and Rob Reeves

The Rob Reeves Trio featuring Amanda Wallace on vocals performs the classic jazz repertoire from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. “We try to capture the jazz spirit and present the music in a way that sounds and feels uplifting and exciting,” explains Rob. “We love to play behind Amanda as she has a great feel for this style, and sings with such passion and beauty.”

Amanda and Rob perform as a duo, or with a Jazz trio, and have been regular performers at the State Library, the Retro Bar in Kenmore, and private functions including Weddings and Festivals. Highlights include the Jazz in the Valley festival in Samford in 2017, and the RSL anniversary celebrations in 2016.

Amanda has toured the West Coast of the USA with “Jazz ’n Soul”, and has had residencies at Tangalooma, Hamilton Island and Uluru resorts.

Rob is a local guitar educator and professional musician, and performs regularly in jazz bands, and as a duo or solo guitar. He has appeared with Leena Salim, Ewan MacKenzie, and Nora Sahak,  teaches jazz improvisation, and is conductor of the Ferny Grove State high School guitar Ensemble.
